From the arrogant Prince of All Saiyans to the beautiful blue-haired genius, it’s everyone’s favourite family.

Description: Bulma is a beautiful, genius with a quick wit and sharp tongue. She is president and sole heir of Capsule Corporation and daughter of capsule technology’s original inventor Dr. Briefs (Burumano Haha). If not for her the entire series would not exist. Bulma initiates the original DragonBall search, which leads her to most of the main characters, including, most importantly, Goku. After the Frieza saga Bulma takes Vegeta in and during this time they become a couple and have a son though it is unknown, though highly speculated, how and when they actually get together. Together they have two children: Trunks (Torankusu) and Bra (Buru).

Description: Vegeta is the not-so-dashing, arrogant and murdering Saiyan Prince. Given over to Frieza by his father when he was just a babe he was shaped by the tyrant into a sadistic killing machine who murdered for pleasure and loathed emotion. He is shown to have little emotional reaction when informed of his planet’s destruction and his position as only one of the few remaining Saiyans. Unable to finally destroy his much loathed master on Namek and ultimately killed by him Vegeta is ultimately humbled and goes to live at the Briefs household on Earth. We all know what happens next ;)

Description: Trunks is Vegeta and Bulma's first child, it was said that he was simply the result of a night of meaningless passion although a lot of people, including myself, don't believe that. Trunks has his father's strength and his mother's brains.

Description: Bra is Vegeta and Bulma's second child, she is very determined and has her dad wrapped around her little finger. She looks a lot like her mother but defiantly has a combination of both their personalities.

Description: Nobody really knows her first name but in alot of fanfics she's called Bunny so I'll just use that. Bunny is Bulma's over-exuberant mother. Every time she appears you can't help but wonder if she's just very exited about everything or if she's simply brainless.

Description: Dr. Briefs is the genius behind Capsule Corporation, which he later passes onto his daughter. Like his daughter he is extremely intelligent and is often unappreciated for the things he does for the Z-gang. Dr. Briefs might seem a little thick sometimes, like he doesn't really understand what's going on, but he makes up for that with his brains. He also carries around a little black cat on his shoulder.

Description: We only see the Saiyan king in flashbacks and such but from what we know he was a harsh and proud man but still loved his son. King Vegeta was killed by Freiza when he tried to get his son back, only seconds later Frieza destroyed the entire planet.

Description: Nobody knows what happened to her, she was the mother of Vegeta but she is never mentioned so everybody guesses Frieza killed her although she was never shown throughout the series’.

Japanese name: Mirai Buruma

Description: This is the Bulma from future Trunks' timeline. In this dimension the androids didn't fail in their task and they ultimately destroyed the world. In the end only Bulma and Trunks survived of the all Z-fighters, as such this Bulma is a widow.

Description: As described above, Mirai Vegeta is from Future Trunks' timeline and died at the hands of the androids. It is said that this Vegeta never cared for his family very much though this disproves the theory as it demonstrates how Vegeta stayed on Earth when Goku was no longer around to surpass.

Description: Trunks of the future came to our timeline to warn the Z-fighters about the androids and the fatal heart disease Goku would get. In his own timeline only him, his mother and Gohan survived the androids and he was tutored by Gohan only he eventually died as well. There is no doubt that this version of a grown up Trunks is a thousand times more awesome than the alternative.
